Warm greetings from the Rotary Club of Alexandria Cosmopolitan, District 2451!
We are delighted to extend a personal invitation to you and your fellow club members to join our Rotary-organized initiative, Cross Egypt Challenge — a thrilling scooter and motorcycle rally that will take you on an unforgettable journey across Egypt this October.

What Is Cross Egypt Challenge?
Cross Egypt Challenge is an international cross-country motorcycle and scooter adventure tour that will lead you through the majestic and captivating landscapes of Egypt. Since 2011, this unique Rotary project has brought together Rotarians and riders from over 50 countries to promote tourism and share their passion for adventure and exploration.

Cross Egypt Challenge 2024 Details:

  • Dates: October 10-19, 2024
  • Duration: 10 days
  • Route: Alexandria, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea Riviera, and the Egyptian Eastern Desert
  • Eligibility: Open to Rotarians, non-Rotarians, spouses, and friends worldwide
  • Accommodation: 3 to 5 stars hotels.

Why Should You Particpate?
Cross Egypt Challenge offers an unparalleled experience that combines the best of adventure travel and extreme sports, making it a rewarding and unforgettable journey for participants from all corners of the globe. Participants in CEC will:

  • Unique Rotary Fellowship: Connect with Rotarians and adventure enthusiasts from around the world while experiencing Egypt’s iconic attractions and hidden gems.
  • Incredible Adventure: Journey through Egypt’s diverse landscapes, including the bustling streets of Cairo, the ancient splendor of Luxor, the serene Red Sea Riviera, and the untamed beauty of the Eastern Desert.
  • Exclusive Sahara Rotary Meeting: Take part in our unique tradition of holding an official Rotary meeting in the heart of the Egyptian desert, alongside fellow Rotarians and Rotaractors from our organizing team. (Check out the attached image for a glimpse!)
  • Flexibility for All Participants: Whether you’re riding a scooter or motorcycle, or joining in the comfort of our air-conditioned chase vans, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.

How to Get Involved:

1. Join the Tour: Ride a scooter, motorcycle, or travel in our chase vans (for non-roders) for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. International participants can rent motorcycles and scooters. Register now via this direct link: www.crossegyptchallenge.com/registration

2. Spread the Word: Share Cross Egypt Challenge with fellow Rotarians and friends, and encourage motorcycle enthusiast friends to join this year’s tour.
